Celebrating Neurodiversity Week! ☂

Last week, the children had an amazing time celebrating Neurodiversity Week! They explored a variety of engaging invitations to play, embracing different ways of thinking, learning, and expressing themselves.

Through hands-on activities, sensory play, and creative exploration, we discovered the beauty of diversity and inclusion. It was wonderful to see their curiosity, joy, and appreciation for each other’s unique strengths!

We wanted to share some photos from the week—take a look at the wonderful moments we captured.

Italian Week.

CIAO! The children took part in a whole week of Italian culture lead by our Italian foxes room leader Sonia!

They made Pasta and pizza from scratch and had this for their tea.

They also made play dough pizzas for their pizza oven. What a fantastic week.

Share a Story! Parent & Carer sessions.

Our ‘Share a Story’ sessions this week were lovely and the children loved story time with the different parents and grandparents who attended.

All our children have enjoyed listening to a range of different stories to celebrate World Book Day and as part of our sponsored listen. All children can continue to add to their listening log until Sunday 9th March and then all sponsorship money is due by Friday 14th March.

Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to purchasing some lovely new books!

Two Weeks of Chicks!

We had the amazing opportunity again this year to hatch 20 chick eggs! They arrived in their incubator and we watched as they hatched. Once they were all yellow and fluffy the children had the opportunity to feed and care for them all for two weeks. It was EGGxcellent!

Parent feedback

“So cuttttteeeeeee!!!!!! Love the photos!!! Melia has talked about these little chicks all week, the first day she said “I wasn’t very brave I couldn’t hold it” and then every morning she said “I’m going to hold a chick today mummy” !! She’s loved it thank you 🙂 they are super cute!”

‘These are gorgeous photos, thank you so much for giving Olivia this experience xx’

Christmas Extravaganza!

We had a lovely Saturday Morning hosting our Christmas Extravaganza Fayre! We had a visit from Father Christmas, Mother Claus and the Elves. We also enjoyed seeing lots of different animals from party pets as well as playing on the Soft Play.

We also took part in Arts and crafts, biscuit making and lots of games!

Hatching our Chicks.

The children had the amazing opportunity to care for some chicks for two weeks for Easter. They were delivered to us before they hatched and all of the children were able to watch the life cycle of a chick from an egg to being born. Our Chicks were then taken back to the Happy Chick Farm. The Children held and fed our chicks over the two weeks and we all really miss them already.

Our children named our Chicks….

  1. Nugget
  2. Omelette
  3. Chicken Little (Our smallest chick)
  4. Fluffy
  5. T Rex (Our biggest chick)
  6. Tweety
  7. Cutie
  8. Pancake
  9. Sunny
  10. Scramble

Christmas Nativity.

During December our Pre school rooms held their Christmas Nativity in the Deanes School! They all performed fantastically. All Families provided consent for the parents and carers to take photos and videos during the performance so these memories can be saved forever!
